Jurassic Valley coloring page line art — three stegosaurus wading through a shallow river below volcanic peaks and palms. The same Jurassic Valley coloring page coloured in using the palette below.
The line art, and one way of colouring it — using the 12 colours below.

What is on the page

Three stegosaurus — an adult and two smaller ones — wade through a shallow river, their back plates in a row along each spine. Ripples spread from their legs and rounded stones break the surface of the water. Behind them the valley rises into palm trees, then foothills, then two volcanic cones under banks of cloud. Ferns and spiky foliage crowd both bottom corners. The drawing is layered front to back, so the plants nearest the reader carry the most detail and the mountains the least.

Colouring it

A mix of open areas and finer detail.

That front-to-back layering is the whole opportunity. Take the foreground ferns dark and saturated, the mid-river greens lighter, the volcanoes pale, and the page gains real depth for no extra work. The back plates are the fun part — a row of graded colours along the spine looks deliberate rather than fussy, and there are three animals to try it on.

The palette

Every page in Imagine & Color ships with a palette chosen for that drawing. These are the 12 colours for Jurassic Valley, with the names they carry in the app — useful whether you are colouring on an iPad or matching pencils on paper.
